$pot Thoughts...
After learning one of Sophie's past teachers was out of school with a terrible case of the flu last Friday. I also learned this same teacher would be out this coming week due to her husbands battle with lung cancer. {...thud}
Definitely needing a thinking of you card... yesterday found me creating this card with a $pot stamp purchased from Mikes almost a year ago! {ack!} Admittedly... the first time putting this stamp to ink! I'm resolved to creating with items in my midst and rationalizing all new future purchases this year. {kwim}
I stamped the fern on white cardstock using chocolate chip dye ink. Then using a blender pen and ink pads I colored in the image. A border of varied strips adds accenting color to the stamped image. Easy peasy! {wink}

Cheers to our paths crossing tomorrow!

OOOOOh, nice stamp! :) A WHOLE YEAR? I dare say, I probably have some I haven't used yet too! LOL Well, I'm glad you are using it.... but, sorry it is for a sad occassion. :( (nice job on the card!)
Beautiful card Anne, that scratch grid makes a great background that really doesn't need a lot else going on to look fab. Sorry to hear the teacher is having such a hard time at the moment though, I have a friend whose husband is battling lung cancer right now (and things are not looking hopeful) so I can imagine a little of what she's dealing with.
Anne, this is so pretty. I love the way you did the ribbon. So sad though to have to send this.
Great card, Anne. You really CAN do simple! :)

Really like this little $1 stamp. Great colors too. :) Are you ready for another visit to Mass soon?
